This retreat was an adventure into the Sierras to soak up the beauty of nature while unplugging from the daily demands of life. We spent the weekend in deep reflection, warming our souls with daily yoga and mediation, warming our bones in the relaxing hot springs, and nourishing our bodies with delicious organic meals. Students enjoyed quiet time by hiking in the woods, reading books by the fire, playing cards around the table, and napping in the sun.

This retreat was held at Villa Sumaya, an exclusive eco-resort nestled in a secluded lakefront cove on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. We immersed ourselves in five days of healing practices such as daily meditation, yoga and self-exploratory writing. Students enjoyed hiking, swimming in the pristine waters, a tour of a local village and an emotional traditional Mayan fire ceremony.
Weekend Getaway: Yoga on The Farm

This retreat was held on a private property at The Farm Grand Island, just an hour and a half East of San Francisco. We spend the weekend practicing a variety of rejuvenating yoga practices on the outdoor yoga deck including: Hatha, Yin, Yoga Nidra and Vinyasa. The weekend was catered by the talented Chef Lauren who curated delicious farm to table meals that nourished and nurtured us in a way that can only be done through home cooking. This retreat created a special community of yogis that emerged from the weekend filled with gratitude, beauty and light.
Anne and Stephanie are a wonderful Yoga team and I would highly recommend any retreats they are running! Just being around them is healing; they both have such calming energy. Getting away from it all on one of their retreats is a great reset and helps you think deeply about what you really want and how to move forward with your goals. The retreat has a nice balance with two yoga practices a day and plenty of free time. My favorite part was yoga nidra or yogic sleep: a very deep relaxed state that leaves you feeling refreshed when you are done! I can't recommend these yoga retreats highly enough! Do yourself a favor and book now!
What a magical trip! This retreat was extremely well organized and the itinerary was perfect to reset and reconnect. Transportation around the lake and to and from the airport was a breeze thanks to Steph and Anne! We did approximately 2-3 yoga sessions a day and had a great amount of time to partake in a lot of other excursions: volcano hikes, kayaking, swimming, site-seeing... just to name a few. There were also some scheduled "field trip" to explore the culture + art around the lake. Needless to say, our group was able to settle and relax at our own pace, and we became a family by the end of the trip :) I would highly recommend this to any new or advanced yogi; I can't wait to set out on my next adventure with these two lovely yogi leaders!

I came to yoga as a casual acquaintance, curious about the unexplored possibilities and open to the unexpected. As the relationship has grown, I have come to appreciate the physical and emotional benefits yoga brings to my life and the teachers who share their love of the practice with me. Anne and Stephanie are two such teachers who each demonstrate thoughtfulness and passion for their teaching. I was especially impressed by the time and consideration they took planning this weekend retreat. Each practice was well balanced and the entirety of the practices felt complete. The venue was spectacular (that outdoor yoga deck!) and the meals were amazing. I am so grateful for this lovely and amazing retreat with Anne and Stephanie! xoxo
